Level 9-8

Past tense irregular verbs

began, felt, became, built, wrote, stood, heard, paid, spoke, took

Many verbs don't follow the traditional rule of adding an -ed ending when they are in the past tense. This level focuses on some of those irregular verbs.

We've all heard a little child over-generalize the -ed pattern and say they builded a tower or taked a nap. Hopefully this level not only eliminates those errors but also gets the correct, irregular spellings solidly in place for students.
