This level focuses on two patterns: words beginning with wr or kn. In both of those patterns, the first letter is silent.

Our video below reminds students not to over-generalize this pattern -- most words beginning with an r or n sound don't have a silent w or k in front of them. But the ten words in this level all do, and as such, they are well worth practicing!
