Long i endings: y, ie, and igh

This level focuses on three patterns that can make a long i sound at the end of a word.

First, the letter y, when found at the end of a one-syllable word and after another consonant, usually makes a long i sound.

Second, the ie pattern, especially at the end of a one-syllable word, can do the same.

Finally, the igh pattern can also make the long i sound.

Distinguishing between those three options will be the primary focus of this set of words!
