Level 10-4

Contractions with am, is, and are

they're, I'm, he's, she's, you're, we're, what's, who's, where's, there's

This is our second (of four) contraction levels, and this time we'll work on contractions where the second word is am, is, or are.

The general rule for these contractions is that the first word remains unchanged, and the second word changes as follows: am becomes 'm, is becomes 's, and are becomes 're. All ten words in this level follow those patterns!

Note that the contraction I'm must be capitalized, as it's first root word is the word I.
